Mortgage payment by loan amount, term and rate
Four tables to get a quick idea of what you would pay each month depending on what you borrow, the term and the interest rate.
These tables show the monthly payment of a fixed-rate loan using the French system, the usual one in Spain. They give you an idea; for your exact case use the mortgage calculator.
How to read them
Each table corresponds to one annual interest rate. The rows are the loan amount and the columns the term in years. The payment includes only capital and interest: not insurance, fees or other products.

What the tables show
- The term weighs a lot on the payment: a longer term lowers the monthly payment but raises the total interest. We look at it in the guide to the payment.
- Every point of rate costs money: with €150,000 over 25 years, going from 3% to 4% means €80.44 more a month. More detail in the Euribor guide.
- The amount is almost proportional: doubling the loan, with the same term and rate, doubles the payment.
If your mortgage is variable, these figures are a starting point: the payment will change at each review. See the guide on fixed, variable or mixed mortgages.
Note: values calculated with the constant-payment formula, without fees or insurance.
