Content Disclaimer

1. Nature of the app

Plei (the "app") is a media player developed by AIDO Apps, based in Spain. The app is designed to play video streams distributed via M3U/M3U8 playlists or direct stream URLs.

The app is functionally analogous to other general-purpose players such as VLC, Infuse, or the operating system's native player: it opens and plays the sources the user chooses to load.

2. AIDO Apps does NOT provide content

AIDO Apps does not host, generate, distribute, aggregate, or control the audiovisual content played through Plei.

We maintain no streaming servers, catalogs, or preloaded lists. The app ships "empty": no content, no provider URLs, no sources of any kind. There is nothing to play until the user adds their own sources.

3. User-provided sources

To play content, the user must manually enter one of:

• The URL or file of an M3U/M3U8 playlist the user obtained by their own means
• A direct stream URL the user already possesses

The user is solely responsible for:

• The origin and legitimacy of the sources they enter
• The legality of the content they access via those sources
• Compliance with intellectual-property and copyright laws applicable in their country of residence
• The contractual terms with the provider of those sources, if any

4. No license verification

AIDO Apps has no technical ability and no legal obligation to verify whether the sources the user enters point to licensed or unlicensed content. The user represents and warrants that the sources they use come from legitimate origins and that they hold the necessary rights to access the content those sources provide.

5. No affiliation with providers

AIDO Apps is not affiliated, associated, authorized, sponsored, or connected in any way with any streaming provider, television network, production company, or rights holder. We do not recommend, promote, or prefer any particular source.

6. What Premium unlocks

Plei is distributed for free with limited functionality. The optional Premium purchase is a one-time payment (not a subscription) through Apple, and unlocks software features:

• Unlimited playlists
• Extended playback history (up to 50 items)
• Picture in Picture
• Adjustable playback speed (up to 2×)
• Sleep timer

The Premium purchase does not include, authorize, or unlock access to any content. What you pay for are software features within the app. Content remains whatever your own sources provide, with your own responsibility over its legality. AIDO Apps receives no payments from content providers and never acts as an intermediary with them.

7. Trademarks and logos

Any names, logos, trademarks, and other distinctive signs that may appear during playback belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in Plei derives solely from the metadata included in the sources the user enters, and implies no authorization, affiliation, or sponsorship by those owners toward AIDO Apps.

8. Copyright claims

If you are a rights holder of content accessed via third-party sources and believe an infringement exists, we recommend:

• Contacting the source provider distributing that content without authorization directly (not AIDO Apps, since we neither host nor distribute the content)
• If you wish, you may notify us at aidoapps@deoleza.com. As the app contains no preloaded sources, there are no references we can remove on our side; sources are entered by each user and are not under our control

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIDO Apps shall not be liable for:

• The legality, quality, availability, or accuracy of the content the user accesses via the sources they themselves configure
• Any damage, penalty, or claim arising from the illegal or unauthorized use of content through the app
• Interruptions, failures, or degradation of service caused by third-party servers
• Any exposure to inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content that a user-entered source might contain

10. Acceptable use

By using Plei, the user agrees to:

• Use the app only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable law
• Respect the intellectual-property rights of content owners
• Not use the app as a means to distribute, retransmit, or commercialize content without the corresponding licenses
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or alter the app to circumvent the Premium purchase system

11. No warranties

The app is provided "AS IS", without express or implied warranty of uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with all devices on the market. AIDO Apps actively works to fix issues reported by email.

12. Modifications

AIDO Apps reserves the right to modify this disclaimer to reflect changes in the app or in legislation. The date and version of the latest update appear at the top of the document.
