AIDO TV ("the app") is a media player for Smart TV developed by AIDO Media, based in Spain. It plays video streams distributed via the industry-standard Xtream Codes API and M3U/M3U8 playlists. It is functionally analogous to general-purpose players such as VLC or the operating system's native player, specialised for IPTV playlists.
AIDO Media does not host, generate, distribute, aggregate or control the audiovisual content played through AIDO TV. We run no streaming servers, no channel catalogues and no preloaded playlists. The app ships completely empty: no content, no demo playlists, no provider URLs and no provider recommendations. There is no feature to search, discover or import playlists from external sources; the only way to add content is for the user to manually enter their own playlist.
To play content, the user must manually enter one of:
The user is solely responsible for the origin and legitimacy of the playlists they enter, the legality of the content accessed through them, compliance with applicable copyright law, and their contractual terms with their IPTV provider.
AIDO Media has no technical ability nor legal obligation to verify whether user-entered playlists point to licensed or unlicensed content. The user represents and warrants that the playlists they use come from legitimate sources and that they hold the rights required to access the content.
AIDO Media is not affiliated, associated, authorised, sponsored or connected in any way with any IPTV provider, TV channel, production company or rights holder, and does not recommend or prefer any specific provider.
AIDO TV is distributed free with a 7-day Premium trial. After it ends, the app continues as a free Basic version. The optional Premium subscription (monthly, yearly or one-time, via Google Play or Amazon Appstore) unlocks software features such as unlimited playlists, the full EPG grid and catch-up.
A Premium purchase does not include, authorise or unlock access to any content. What you pay for are software features inside the app. Content remains whatever your own playlists provide, with your own responsibility for its legality. AIDO Media receives no payment from, and does not intermediate with, IPTV providers. The app contains no advertising.
Channel names, logos and trademarks that may appear during playback belong to their respective owners. Their appearance derives solely from metadata in the playlists the user enters, and implies no authorisation, affiliation or sponsorship of AIDO Media.
If you hold rights over content accessed through third-party IPTV playlists and believe an infringement exists, please contact the IPTV provider distributing that content directly (not AIDO Media, as we neither host nor distribute content). You may also notify us at privacy@aidomedia.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIDO Media is not liable for:
By using AIDO TV, the user agrees to use it only for lawful purposes, to respect content owners' intellectual property, and not to use it to distribute, retransmit or commercialise content without the corresponding licences.
The app is provided "AS IS", without express or implied warranty of uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or compatibility with every device.
